Choose the species, management unit and licence type. General seasons do not replace Limited Entry Hunting authorization; access and motor-vehicle restrictions need a separate check.

Use the regional freshwater tables and named-water exceptions. Salmon and tidal-water rules also require the DFO sources, including current closures.

Bird dates vary among eight districts. Some goose and duck windows are limited to individual provincial management units; a whole district must not inherit those openings.
Use the federal district map and provincial licence rules together. The checker’s bird records cover August 2026–July 2027; future seasons remain unverified until reviewed.
