Match the river or lake to the fishing-area entry and exceptions. Consult winter fishing rules separately, plus current DFO salmon measures and closures.

Zones 1 and 2 have different duck and goose periods. Eiders have a narrower season than the combined sea-duck group; February opportunities are zone-specific.
Use the federal district map and provincial licence rules together. The checker’s bird records cover August 2026–July 2027; future seasons remain unverified until reviewed.
