Use current amendments alongside the summary: Sunday hunting and deer rules changed after older pages were published. Upland bird rules differ by species and, for pheasant, county.

Consult the regional waterbody exceptions as well as species rules in the handbook. Atlantic salmon requires its own rules and licence; seasonal closures can change independently.

Bird zones 1 and 2 open on different dates. The combined sea-duck category includes eider-specific restrictions, so it needs a species check before displaying an open result.
Use the federal district map and provincial licence rules together. The checker’s bird records cover August 2026–July 2027; future seasons remain unverified until reviewed.
Read the federal bird summary and district mapInstaGuide™ coverage
22 reviewed rule entries are available for this province. Coverage is partial: each entry identifies its area, species, method and edition. Provincial big-game, upland and waterbody-exception coverage is still being expanded.
Open and closed labels describe the published window for the displayed scope. Conditional dates need a further check. Missing or expired rules show “Not verified.”
Check a date in InstaGuide™Regulations update schedule
Review angling in March/April and hunting in August/September. Check amendment notices when a landing page and a PDF disagree; exact publication dates are not confirmed.
These are HighTail review windows based on available editions, not a ministry promise of a release date. New editions and amendments must be reviewed before InstaGuide™ dates are updated.
