Separate general, bow and controlled deer seasons. Turkey spring and fall seasons cover different WMUs and methods. Moose, deer and bear rules also depend on tags and eligibility.
Check the provincial hunting guideFishing seasons and waterbody exceptions
Start with the FMZ species dates, then check species exceptions, waterbody exceptions and sanctuaries. A lake marker shows recorded fish presence, not an exemption from these rules.
Check the official fishing rulesMigratory bird hunting
Choose Hudson–James Bay, Northern, Central or Southern district from the federal map. Goose and crane openings may be narrower than the district; Harlequin ducks have no open season.
Use the federal district map and provincial licence rules together. The checker’s bird records cover August 2026–July 2027; future seasons remain unverified until reviewed.

496 reviewed rule entries are available for this province. Coverage is partial: each entry identifies its area, species, method and edition. Provincial big-game, upland and waterbody-exception coverage is still being expanded.
Open and closed labels describe the published window for the displayed scope. Conditional dates need a further check. Missing or expired rules show “Not verified.”

Review fishing in December/January and hunting in March. The current PDFs carry December 2025 and March 2026 publication paths; check ministry notices throughout the year.
These are HighTail review windows based on available editions, not a ministry promise of a release date. New editions and amendments must be reviewed before InstaGuide™ dates are updated.
